Arcanity Flux is a project created to interface for the first time with the production of an Open-Map game. Exploration is free and the player will have to use the only game mechanic, namely a gravity switch, to obtain all the narrative rewards present. Furthermore, the player has a limited time available to remain in inverted gravity, adding a gradual progression of mastery for the skill by exploiting the platform elements.

GAME DESIGNER

  • Creation of the game (High Vision, mood, brainstorming framework)

  • Concept, analysis and development of the Core Mechanics.

  • Creation of layouts for the game areas

  • Idealization and development of the first game area (tutorial and first mechanical interactions) and secondary areas.

TECH DESIGNER & PROGRAMMER

  • Complete implementation of game mechanics

  • Dynamic gravity switch system with pointer

  • Directional dynamic clamping for the pointer

  • Use of trigonometry for the surfaces to land on
